Coding & Robotics

What a semester we have had in Coding and Robotics!

We began designing and programming a game while becoming acquainted with Scratch 3.

In less than one term our students managed to program a full game.

In our Coding syllabus, we put a lot of emphasis in the development of finding computational solutions to the problems presented while developing a functional game. We learnt essential logic problems in programming such as conditionals, variables and iteration in the form of loops.

During the second part of the semester we started working on our robotics projects with different tasks for each level.

Belle Vue PS students always have a blast! Each week we try to solve common problems using robots and automation.

It is a joy to watch our students working so enthusiastically that time flies, and they can’t wait for the next session.

Check these images and stay tuned because things will only get better in 2024.

We are happy to announce that we will have our Robot and Coding Expo during the second part of Semester 2.

We are learning all about AUTOMATION with Arduino and sensors.
How streets lights turn on at dusk? now we know and we can do it too!
How Electrical circuits work? We are learning about polarity, switches and continuity.
Learning to measure electricity and how to use multimeters to troubleshoot our work.
