On Tuesday 7 May, staff from the North-East Link project visited our Year 1/2 students to educate, engage and excite students about the tunnel construction and the technology used on Victoria’s biggest road project. Students in Year 1 and 2 were engaged in exciting STEM based classroom activities aligned to the 2024 F-2 Victorian Curriculum, explaining the technology and science behind tunnel construction. Students also participated in a TBM naming competition. This was an exciting incursion for our students, with key learning outcomes from the Geography and Science curriculums.
