2023 Belle Vue Book Week Parade
This week our students celebrated book Week, with students coming dressed as their favourite book character to help create a great atmosphere, celebrating Australian’s children’s authors and illustrators whilst highlighting the importance of reading.
We started the day with a whole school parade of the wonderful and creative costumes staff and students dressed up in. Follow the parade, all students participated in a range of rotations based on the Children’s Book Council of Australia shortlisted books of 2023. The day ended with an incursion and whole school performance from Perform Education. It was a fantastic day celebrating all things literacy at Belle Vue.
